Guinness Storehouse St. Patrick’s Line Up
This year will see The Guinness Storehouse have its biggest St. Patrick's Day Festival yet!
The four day festival will have a number of new collaborative events between the Storehouse and the St. Patrick's Festival as part of the 'I Love my City' programme.
It will all kick off on March 14th with a screening of the RBS 6 Nations Ireland V Wales match. There will be pre-match analysis with Irish international rugby player Fergus McFadden and Newstalk's 'Off the Ball' presenter, Joe Molloy. There will be a fantastic atmosphere so if you're not going to Wales to watch the match then get to the Guinness Storehouse and grab a seat and a pint of the Black Stuff in Arthur's Bar.
The ‘I Love My City’ programme will see the Brewers Dining Hall in the Guinness Storehouse transformed for a sensory feast. The ‘Bia Beatha: Irish Cuisine & Culture’ experience takes place on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March 2015.
Guests will savour a specially crafted three course menu by Guinness Storehouse Executive Chef, Justin O’ Connor featuring dishes inspired by original brewers' dining menus. Each course will be paired with captivating stories from culinary historian, Máirtín Mac Con Iomaire and the evening will end with a live musical performance.
If you can't get to the Storehouse be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a Guinness Storehouse first with ‘GUINNESS in the City.’ This is the first ever pop up Guinness Archive as part of the ‘I Love My City’ programme. The outdoor exhibition trail will showcase specially selected images from the archive in city centre locations to celebrate the intrinsic link between Guinness and Dublin City.
The above are just some of the events taking place. Throughout the weekend the Storehouse will be hosting marching bands, Irish music talent, food demos, flash mob ceili performances, face painting and much more so do your utmost not to miss it!
