The Dame District

The Dame District is located just behind Dame Street and parallel to George’s street, has become an epicenter for socialising in Dublin Town and is part of Dublin’s prestigious Purple Flag area. There are ten supporting establishments located in the Dame District: The Bankers, The Exchequer, Odessa, The Mercantile, The Stags Head, 4 Dame Lane, Dame Tavern, RíRá/The Globe, Speak Easy and Sweeney’s. The T-junction at Dame Court is the perfect place to head for a night out on the town, any night of the week, for quality live music, comedy, fantastic eateries and clubbing. In winter, for 10 days leading up to Christmas, the district transforms into a Christmas Wonderland with all the very best of Crafts, Music, Arts, Food, Drinks, a Vintage Carousel and a Santa’s Grotto, with live entertainment every night!
