The Garage Bar

The Garage Bar is situated in the hub of Temple Bar and is definitely one of a kind with 1930’s petrol pumps, tyres, car fronts, walls adorned with images of rock and roll icons and sawdusted floors.

Located in a disused garage, the decor screams 1950’s petrol head with its sawn-in-half muscle car props and sawdust strewn about the floor. Drinks range from pitchers of beer to the classiest of cocktails – the long island ice teas are a particular favourite.

The music policy is simply rock and roll,though in all its’ guises from Northern Soul to Motown, Punk to New Wave and Indie.

They’re open late from Wednesday through to Sunday with a selection of some of the best dj’s in the city spinning til 2.30 am.
